A base mixture for weight loss:

Mix one teaspoon of a base oil or cream (lotion, milk), 5 drops of tart tea tree and nutmeg, 10 drops of bergamot and grapefruit essential oils, 3 drops of cinnamon aroma oil and 8 drops of fragrant geranium oil.

Essential oils can be varied according to the specific characteristics of your skin:

  • If you have stretch marks on the body, use grapefruit, oregano, sage, rosemary, roman chamomile and benzoin;
  • If you have a sensitive and dry skin, in addition to base oils, use neroli, jasmine, rose, sandalwood, chamomile and Kananga;
  • For the skin that is prone to allergic use chamomile and sandalwood;
  • For oily skin use sandalwood, lavender, lemon, cypress and geranium.

Body wrap with essential oils – is a pretty simple, but incredibly pleasant procedure, which can be done at home. It does not require huge costs and a lot of efforts. The fame of the healing properties of oils came to us from the ancient times, when people used them to maintain youth and beauty.

Method 1

To prepare the mask, mix a few drops of lavender oil with lemon oil and juniper, add twenty drops of any base oil (for example, grape seed oil). Apply the mask to problem areas and rub well with your hands. Wrap yourself with any cling film and a warm blanket to create a “sauna effect”. Wait an hour, wash off the oil and lubricate the skin with a moisturizer.

Method 2

Mix a drop of cinnamon oil with three drops of lemongrass oil, petitgrain, and dill. Add a few drops of black pepper oil. The resulting oil mix with a glass of sea salt to a scrub-mixture. Rub it into the problem areas of the body and  wait until the oil is completely absorbed into the skin. Finally, take a bath or shower without using soap agents. This method not only reduces cellulite but also perfectly smooths the skin.

 Method 3

An equally effective way to prepare a mixture for anti-cellulite wraps at home. For the mixture, you need about 50 ml of jojoba oil, add grapefruit oil (10 drops), cinnamon leaf oil (5 drops), juniper oil (10 drops) and myrrh oil (5 drops). Thoroughly mix all components and rub into problem areas. Wrap yourself with cling film. In 25-35 minutes rinse it with warm water.

Method 4

One more simple mixture for anti-cellulite body wraps. Mix grape seed oil (40-50 ml) with coffee oil (10 ml). Apply the resulting mixture to the problem areas of the body and wrap yourself with plastic wrap. In an hour rinse it with warm water.

Method 5

Mix ten drops of myrrh oil with ten drops of orange oil and ten drops of lavender oil. Apply it to problem areas and wrap yourself with food wrap. Forty minutes later, take a shower and use nourishing cream or a moisturizing lotion.

For a base mixture mix 8-10 drops of juniper, lavender, grapefruit, lemon, rosemary and bergamot essential oils. Before taking a bath add from 8 (for the first procedure) to 20 drops (in the middle of the course) of such a mixture to honey or kefir and then dissolve it in water.

You can use less complex mixtures for aroma bath in the process of weight loss (for one procedure):

  • 3 drops of lavender, grapefruit and lemon aroma oils;
  • 4 drops of rosemary and grapefruit and 2 drops of lemon essential oils;
  • 4 drops of rosemary, lavender and bergamot aroma oils;
  • 2 drops of cypress, rosemary and fennel;
  • 2 drops of lemon, geranium and black pepper oils;
  • 2 drops of peppermint, ginger and juniper oils.

Today aroma baths are second in popularity to a peculiar aroma shower – a quick shower with special scrubs containing essential oils. It is easy to use, and results in an elastic and glowing skin, the resolved problems with cellulite and problem areas, the improvement of microcirculation and elasticity. Rub the mixture into the skin until the arms get tired. This method of aromatherapy is suitable for those, who do not have enough time for aroma baths and massages.

To make the easiest version of aroma scrub for weight loss mix coffee grounds remained after brewing, with 10 drops of tea tree or black pepper essential oil. You can make the composition easier: mix a few tablespoons of a typical shower gel with 4 drops of bergamot and geranium essential oils. After this procedure, add 4 drops of grapefruit oil for every 15 grams of the base to your body cream and apply it to the skin. You may also prepare a base mixture for the scrub in advance. Before each procedure, mix the scrub with 4 drops of chosen essential oils and a teaspoon of any of base oils. For such a dry base grind oatmeal and nuts in equal parts in a blender. Furthermore, the base can be made of honey with salt and olive oil or in addition with soda. Mix with the base anything you prefer.
